Collaborative Business at Every One Every Day is about doing business differently.

What is Collaborative Business?

Instead of tackling it alone, residents come together to learn, create, and test ideas in a way that’s supportive, low risk, and rooted in community.

Whether you have a rough idea or just want to get involved, this is a space to try something new — together! And in the process, we’re creating the conditions for a more circular economy: one that values people, reuses materials, and keeps resources flowing through the community instead of being wasted.

Why Join a Collaborative Business Program?

  • Connect & Collaborate

Meet neighbours with shared interests, bounce ideas around, and co-create projects that matter to you and your community.

  • Learn & Grow

Our programs include skill-sharing, peer support, and sessions with local entrepreneurs and specialists – all designed to help you take the next step.

  • Try Ideas in a Low-Risk Way

Starting something new can feel overwhelming. Our Collaborative Business program offers a safe space to try things out with no big risks – just opportunities to grow and discover.  the difference.

What’s a Circular Economy?

A circular economy means wasting less and sharing more. Instead of singular uses, we find ways to reuse, repair, and repurpose – keeping materials (and knowledge!) moving through our community.

Example: Our Collaborative Business Program called Threaded Together sources nearly all of their fabric from donations or second hand. This lowered their costs, creating a more affordable clothing line and keeping good materials out of the landfill. That’s circular thinking in action!

Different Ways to Collaborate

There’s no singular way to do Collaborative Business. Here are examples of the different models of Collaborative Business:

  1. Collaborative Brand – Individual makers selling under one shared brand

  2. Collaborative Design – A group co-designs and sells together

  3. Collaborative Production – An idea from one person, produced by the team

  4. Collaborative Shop – A shared space to sell as a group

Have an Idea?

We’re building a community idea bank – a place to gather, track and connect ideas from across the neighbourhood.
