From June through October, communities throughout Mi'kma'ki will be gathering to celebrate culture, community, song, dance, and connection. If you've never attended a powwow before, know that you are welcome!

Powwows are spaces where people come together to learn, share, support Indigenous artists and vendors, reconnect with the culture of our land, and celebrate the strength of our Nations. Whether you're Indigenous or non-Indigenous, powwows welcome respectful visitors who want to spend time in community and take part in meaningful cultural celebrations.
